Results: summaries, exports and drop-off

There are three views of the same data: a summary per question, a table of individual responses, and an Insights tab that counts visits, starts and completions.

Answer summaries

Every question gets a chart and a count. Choice questions get bars, ratings get distributions, text answers get a list, and the NPS question in the NPS survey template gets its score worked out for you. Summaries are free on every plan, with no time limit.

The summary follows the questions in the form. Responses to the customer feedback form template, for example, show a satisfaction chart first and the written comments below it. The customer satisfaction survey (CSAT) template works the same way.

The response table and exports

The table has one row per response and one column per question, with filters and search. Download it as CSV or Excel at any time, on the free plan too, with no cap on rows.

Your responses are yours to take elsewhere. The limits that do apply are in the fair use policy.

Visits, starts and completions

The Insights tab counts visits, starts, completions and how long people took. The free plan shows the last 7 days. PulseFormCreator Pro shows the full history.

If the form is set to anonymous mode, we do not record the device details that visit insights rely on, so some of these counts are unavailable. Choose anonymous mode when candid answers matter more to you than visit analytics.

Drop-off and partial responses

Drop-off insights show which question people leave on. Partial responses keep the answers people gave before they left.

Both are Pro features, and both start collecting when you switch them on. They cannot recover answers from before that point, because those answers were never stored. Tally works the same way, as the comparison with Tally shows.

Once you know where people leave, the fix is usually in the logic: skip the question for the people it does not apply to.
