Fair use policy: what unlimited means

• 50,000 responses a month across your account.
• 100 GB of file uploads a month, and 500 GB stored in total.
• 50,000 notification emails a month.

These apply to every plan, free included. A month is a calendar month in UTC.

• Responses: every response saved to your forms and polls in the month, including the ones held in the Spam tab. Partial responses do not count, and neither does anything you submit in the preview before you save a form. A response you delete stops counting.
• Uploads: the size of the files people upload to your forms. The monthly line counts files uploaded this month. The total counts what is still stored, so deleting a response or a form frees its space.
• Notification emails: the emails sent by Email me and Email the respondent. Each notification counts once, however many addresses it goes to, and Send test does not count. Digests, replies you send from a response and People emails are not part of this line; People emails have their own monthly allowance.

Your account's Plan & billing section shows how many forms you have and your total responses. There is no monthly counter for the fair use lines in the product yet. If you think you are close to one, contact us and we will send you this month's numbers.

Nothing is blocked. Your forms keep taking responses, uploads and emails keep working, and you can export everything at any time. We check usage once a day, so we see when an account passes a line.

A one-off spike is fine. A campaign, a symposium registration form, a gala dinner registration form or a charity golf tournament registration form that fills faster than expected is what the headroom is for. If an account stays over a line month after month, we email you to agree a plan that fits.

You cannot plan against "unlimited" unless you know where the limit is. These are the same thresholds Tally publishes, so you can compare the two directly in the PulseFormCreator and Tally comparison.

Uploads are the line to watch on forms that collect files. An employment application collecting a resume from every applicant, a photo contest entry form, a musical audition form taking self-tapes or a roof certification form full of photos uses storage much faster than a contact us form does. The pricing page repeats the thresholds next to the plans.
