Delete your PulseFormCreator data

Last updated: 23 September 2026

There are three ways to remove data, depending on what you want to delete.

1. Delete a single form

  1. Sign in and open Forms in the dashboard sidebar.
  2. Open the actions menu on the form's row and choose Delete….
  3. Choose Delete forever to confirm.

This removes the form, every response submitted to it, the files people uploaded, the AI labels and replies on those responses, and any cached exports. People who came to your People list only through this form are removed too, unless you added them by hand. The action is immediate and not recoverable from the dashboard.

2. Remove a single response

  1. Open the form's Results and go to Responses.
  2. Open the response and choose Delete this response.
  3. Confirm. This can't be undone.

This removes its answers, the files uploaded with it, its AI labels and replies, and its entries in People. If that was the person's only response, they are removed from People as well, unless you added them by hand. Deleting through the API does the same.

On Business, a form's data retention setting deletes responses older than the period you choose, in the same way, and also removes the people that form brought in whose latest response is older than that period (again, unless you added them by hand).

3. Delete your entire account

  1. Sign in and open Account in the dashboard sidebar.
  2. Under Delete account, press Delete my account.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm, then press Delete forever.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out. This can't be undone. Deleting your account removes:

  • Your user record and email.
  • Every form you own.
  • Every response submitted to those forms, including the hashed IP and user-agent.
  • Your People list, with its timelines, segments and bulk email history, and every AI label and reply on your responses.
  • Any cached exports of those forms.

If you can't sign in, send us a privacy request from the email address on your PulseFormCreator account and choose Deletion: erase my data. Include the links of any forms you remember, so we can confirm we have the right records. We remove the same data. We aim to complete deletion within 7 days and always within 30 days, subject to legal record-keeping obligations. We email you when it's done.

4. Backups

Database backups are retained for 30 days for disaster recovery. Deleted data may persist in those rolling backups until they age out, but it is not accessible to staff or users and is overwritten in the next backup cycle. After 30 days it is gone.

5. What we do not delete

  • Aggregate, non-identifying counters used to monitor service health (for example, total response counts per day across the platform).
  • Records we are legally required to retain, such as billing records for paid plans (none for accounts on the free plan, which does not require payment data).
  • Email-delivery logs from SendGrid, which keep limited metadata for around 30 days. These do not contain form content.
  • What OpenAI received for the AI features a form uses, which OpenAI may keep for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring before deleting it (see the AI Data Policy).

6. Respondent requests

If you are a respondent (you answered someone's form) and you want a response removed, contact the form's owner directly, because they control the data. If you cannot reach them, send us the form's link through the contact page and we will help arrange removal.
