Getting started

Getting started with PulseFormCreator

This is the shortest path from an empty editor to a link you can send: write the questions, publish, share, read the answers.

Start building before you sign up

Open the form editor and start typing. You do not need an account or a card, and there is no trial period. PulseFormCreator asks for an email address when you publish, because that is where we send the responses.

If you would rather not start from a blank page, open something close in the template library and change the questions. The contact form template, the registration form template and the customer feedback form template are common starting points. Every template is a working form that you can edit and publish.

If you are not sure what to ask, describe the form in a sentence and use AI to draft the questions. You approve or rewrite every question before anything goes live.

Add your questions

Each question is a block. Type a question, choose the block type, and set whether an answer is required. Short answer, long answer, choice, checkboxes, dropdown, ranking, matrix, rating, NPS, yes/no, slider, date, time, email, phone, link, number, address, file upload and signature are all on the free plan.

There are two layouts. Classic shows a page of questions at once. Conversational shows one question per screen, in the style Typeform made familiar. You switch between them with one setting in the Design tab.

Publish and share

Press publish, confirm your email with the code we send, and you get a link. Share the link, print a QR code, or paste an embed snippet into your site. There are 8 embed styles, from a plain inline form to a chat bubble. See sharing and embedding.

The free plan collects unlimited responses, subject to the published fair use thresholds.

Read what comes back

Every question gets a summary and a chart, and you can download all responses as CSV or Excel on every plan, including free. Results and insights covers the summary, the response table and the drop-off report.

To send answers to Slack, a spreadsheet or a webhook, set that up once in the Connect tab. See integrations.

Where to go next

  • Coming from another form builder: start with moving from Tally.
  • Collecting sensitive feedback: turn on anonymous mode before you share the link.
  • Running a quiz: scoring uses the same editor.
  • Comparing us with another product: the comparison pages are dated and list where the other product is ahead.
