    shows “Your previous address”

  3. When “What is your work situation?” is “Employed” or “Self-employed”

shows “Employer (or your business) and your role”

  4. When “What is your work situation?” is “Student”, “Retired” or “Not working at the moment”

shows “How will you pay the rent?”

  5. When “How many people will live there, including you?” is more than 1

shows “Names of the other adults”

  6. When “Will any pets live there?” is Yes

shows “What kind, and how many?”

Make it yours

  1. A link for each listing

Add ?property=Unit 4B to the listing’s link and the property fills in for every adult.

  2. Only people who have viewed it

Turn on Settings → Password protection and give the password out at the viewing.

  3. Close it once it’s rented

Set a close time under Settings → Schedule for the day you sign a lease.

Questions about this template

What do I put on a rental application if I live with my parents?

Choose “I live with family” and the landlord questions disappear; references and proof of income do the rest.

Does every adult need their own application?

Yes: each adult consents to their own screening and signs their own answers.

How do I run a credit check without collecting an SSN?

Through a tenant screening service: applicants enter their own details on its secure site, and this form records their consent.

Can I take the application fee on the form?

No, payments are not available. The United States preset states the fee and how to pay it.

Which form do you need?

Not quite the job? One of these may fit, or browse all application forms.
