Questions about this template
How do I fill in a printed job application?
Use black ink and capital letters, give a month and year for each job, and write “N/A” instead of leaving a box empty. Then sign and date the last page.
Can people apply without a résumé?
Yes: the job table replaces it, and first-job applicants skip that too. The “Salaried or office role” preset requires one.
What happens when an applicant has no right to work?
The form ends on a polite screen. If you sponsor visas, delete that rule in the editor.
Should applicants attach a cover letter?
Not for shift work: “Why do you want this job?” takes a few optional lines. The salaried preset makes it a required statement against your criteria.
Which form do you need?
Not quite the job? One of these may fit, or browse all application forms.
- form for volunteers
For unpaid helpers, with checks instead of a job history.
- new employee information form
After you hire, for the new starter’s details and payroll paperwork.
- change of availability form
When staff you already employ change the hours they can work.
